Staff Selection Commission has released SSC CGL 2017 - 18 Notification for filling up various Groups “B” & “C” posts such as Auditor, Sub Inspector, Assistant Section Officer and others. Organization is going to organize CGL Tier-I (Pre) Exam from 01-08-17 to 20 -08-2017. Interested contenders may apply by filling SSC CGL 2017 - 18 Online Registration form   on or before the Important Dates.

Staff Selection commission is looking for self motivated and well qualified contenders to fill Group “B” & “C” posts. SSC CGL Eligibility Criteria:


·         a citizen of India, or
·         a subject of Nepal, or
·         a subject of Bhutan, or
·         a Tibetan refugee who came over to India, before the Ist January, 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India

Essential Qualification:

Applicants should possess Bachelor’s Degree (Graduation Degree) or equivalent from a recognized University, to apply for SSC Combined Graduate Level (CGL) exam.

·         For Group “B” Posts: Pay Band-2 Rs. 9300 – 39100/- with grade pay :- Rs.5400, Rs.4800, Rs.4600 and Rs.4200
·         For Group “C” Posts: Pay Band-1 Rs. 5200 – 20200/- with grade pay :- Rs.2800, Rs.2400, Rs.2000, Rs.1900 and Rs.1800

Application Fee:
Male Category appliers should need to Pay Rs. 100/- as an application fee.
Women and reserved category appliers are exempted from any fee.

Mode of payment:
Applicants have to pay fee through State Bank of India only either in the form of challan, generated on line, or through SBI Net Banking

Selection Procedure:

Exam will be conducted in different tiers as indicated below:

·         Tier -I -- Written Examination (Objective Multiple Choice Type)
·         Tier -II -- Written Examination (Objective Multiple Choice Type)
·         Tier –III-- Descriptive Paper in English/Hindi (writing of Essay/Precis/Letter /Application Writing etc.
·         Tier -IV -- Computer Proficiency Test/ Skill Test (wherever applicable)/ Document Verification

SSC CGL Tier I Exam Pattern:
Tier-1 is the first level of CGL Exam and it consists of objective type questions:

How to fill SSC CGL 2017 - 18 Online Registration:

Candidates can submit their application form through any of the mode either through Online or Offline Mode.

Online Mode:
Process of filling application form is divided into two Parts that is Part I and Part II.

Part I:
·         Visit the official web site that is
·         On the home page, find the “Examination” link >>choose the “Registration” option.
·         Follow the “Apply online” link.
·         Choose the notification that is related to “SSC CGL 2017”.
·         Fill Registration Form as per the guidelines.
·         After submitting the filled form, a unique Registration ID will be generated.
·         Contenders have to note down that ID for future use.

Part II:
·         Applicants have to fill Part II stage of the application form.
·         Enter the Registration Number which will be provided you in Part I.
·         Upload your recent passport size photograph and signature.
·         Make the payment of fee through online mode.
·         After depositing your fee, enter the remaining details.
·         At last, submit the dully filled application form
·         Don’t forget to take the print out of the application form.

Offline Mode:
·         Fill the application form through Offline mode.
·         Visit the official website that is
·         Follow the appropriate notification and download of the form.
·         Fill the application carefully
·         Completed filled application form along with essential enclosures and attach CRFS stamp and submit it to the address given below
