AIPVT Counselling  will be conducted by the Veterinary Council of India (VCI), New Delhi. counselling for admission to 15% All India quota seats will be organized by the VCI and the counselling for seats other than 15% all India quota will be conducted separately by the respective states/University.


College/category wise number of seats will be available at each round of counselling. Here , we are providing complete information about AIPVT 2017 counselling. Veterinary Council of India (VCI) will conduct online and on spot counselling for allotting seats through AIPVT. There will be 3 rounds of counseling.

Contenders are advised to check complete Schedule and Online Seat Allotment Status AIPVT Counselling First and second round will be held online while seat allotment in third round will be done through on spot counselling (by candidate’s personal appearance). Counselling schedule for online and on spot counselling will be published on the council’s official website. Counselling will start from the first week of August 2017 tentatively.


AIPVT Counselling Procedure 2017

AIPVT counselling process will consist of following steps:

·         Counselling Registration: Contenders have to first register themselves through the council’s website. To register, enter details like name, DOB, roll number, application number, etc. Only the registered candidates will be considered for counselling.
·         Exercising of Choice Filling & Locking: Choose the choices for veterinary colleges and  lock the choices by clicking on save button. Once the candidates marked the choices for colleges, the list of selected veterinary college will appear on the screen. Candidate’s can take the printout of locked choices.
·         Seat Allotment: Allotments will be made in the order of preference of options exercised by the candidates and rank of the candidate in AIPVT 2017. Check the result of seat allotment on council’s official website.
·         Reporting to the Allotted Veterinary College – After getting seat, report to the allotted institution within the specified dates to complete admission formalities.


Documents Required at the Time of Admission

·         Candidate’s are required to carry the following documents in original at the time of admission and onspot counselling:
·         AIPVT 2017 Admit Card or Confirmation Page
·         AIPVT 2017 Result/Scores
·         Proof of Admission in the College (Fee receipt by those who have been allotted seats during Ist/2nd round of counseling during onspot counseling).
·         DOB Certificate
·         Class 10th Passing Certificate
·         Class 12th Mark Sheet and Passing Certificate
·         Character Certificate
·         Identity Proof
·         Four Passport Size Coloured Photographs and one postcard size coloured photograph
·         Community Certificate (in case of SC/ST/OBC/PWD category)

Important point to keep in mind:

Jammu & Kashmir candidates : Applicants who have submitted self declaration claiming eligibility for 15% All India quota seats have to submit an affidavit on Non Judicial Stamp Paper of Rs.10/- duly attested by Metropolitan Magistrate/ First Class Judicial Magistrate.

·         Visit the official website of  www.vci.nic.in
·         On the home page press on to appropriate link to download the counseling letter.
·         Download the AIPVT Counselling Call Letter by filling necessary details.
·         New page of hall ticket will be appeared on the computer screen
·         At the end take a printout of it and keep it safe.
