DAVV stands for Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya. It is situated in Indore, in Madhya Pradesh in India. Formerly, it was known as University of Indore. It is also accreted with Grade “A” by NAAC in Madhya Pradesh.
It was established in 1964 and now it has completed its 50 years of establishment. The University serves around 1, 80,000 students every year for different courses.

The University is going to start the counselling process after the Common Entrance Test of DAVV University. The candidates qualified in the Entrance exam are eligible for the counselling process. Through the counselling the candidates can allot their seats according to their choices.

Documents required for Counselling:

1.       3 Photographs
2.       Admit Card
3.       CET-2015 Result downloaded from website
4.       Mark Sheet of Qualifying examination - Original for verification +1 Photocopy (Self Attested)
5.       Proof of Age - Original for verification + 1 Photocopy (Self Attested)
6.       Transfer Certificate - Original + 1 Photocopy (Self Attested)
7.       Migration Certificate - Original + 1 Photocopy (Self Attested)
8.       Caste Certificate for SC/ST/OBC (excluding creamy layer) candidate - Original for verification + 1 Photocopy (Self Attested)
9.       Income Certificate for SC/ST/OBC (excluding creamy layer) candidate - Original for verification + 1 Photocopy (Self Attested))
10.   ..  J.K. Migrant / J.K. Resident Certificate - Original for verification + 1 Photocopy (Self Attested)
11.     .M.P. Domicile Certificate - Original for verification, if applicable + 1 Photocopy (Self Attested)
12.     . Affidavits for Gap in studies (if applicable) - Original + 1 Photocopy (Self Attested)

Fee Details:

1.      Candidate  is  required  to  bring  a  DD  of  Rs.10,  000/ (Rupees  Ten  Thousand  only)  in favor  of “Registrar  (Self  Finance)  Others”  payable  at  Indore at  the  time  of  counseling, failing candidate  will  not  be  considered  for  counseling. The remaining fee, Caution Money, Student Services Fee and other applicable fee will be required to be deposited in the respective Institute / School within three days of admission, failing which admission will be automatically cancelled.

2.      For SC/ST Categories:

· The fee will be charged as per M.P. Govt. rules.

· DD of Rs. 4000/ (Only Caution Money) in favour of “Registrar (Self Finance) others” payable at Indore.

3.      (If income of parent is up to Rs.1, 20, 000 per year)

4.     DD of Rs. 5000 + Rs. 4000 (Caution Money) = Rs.9, 000/-in favor of “Registrar (Self Finance) others” payable at Indore. 

5.      (If income of parent is more than Rs. 1, 20, 000 and up to Rs. 3, 00, 000 per year)

6.      DD of Rs. 10000/-in favor of “Registrar (Self Finance) others” payable at Indore.

7.      (If income of parent is above Rs. 3, 00, 000 per year)

Age Limitation:

·        For undergraduate courses: 23 years

·        Postgraduate degree courses: 28 years as on July 01, 2016.

·        A relaxation of three years in upper age limits for SC / ST / OBC and physically handicapped.

·        For candidate belonging to physically challenged category upper age is

·        For Graduate Courses: 30 years        

·        For Post Graduate courses: 35 years as on July 01, 2016.

·        There is no upper age limit for females, MBA (HA 2 years) and LLM candidates.

·        For B. Pharm. Course: 17 years on or before 31st December of the year of admission.

·        For B.A. LLB course age limit will be as per M.P. Govt./B.C.I./PCI norms.
