ICAR AIEEA Undergraduate courses / Post-graduate courses Syllabus and Exam pattern are available here to download. AIEEA UG is conducted for undergraduate courses and AIEEA PG is conducted for postgraduate courses in the field of agriculture offered by the agriculture universities.


All India Entrance Examination for Admission (AIEEA) AIEEA UG is a national level entrance exam, whose 15% seats of bachelor degree programmes (B.Sc ag./ B.Tech/ B.F.Sc, etc) in Agricultural Universities (AUs) will be filled through ICAR AIEEA UG exam. ICAR 2018 AIEEA Exam Pattern
Below we are providing the complete exam pattern for both AIEEA UG and AIEEA PG programmes.

AIEEA PG: 
Mode of Exam  Exam will be conducted through offline mode (OMR).
Exam Date  Exam will be conducted on 13th May 2018.
Duration of Exam  Duration of the exam will be two and a half hours.
Total Questions   150 questions will be asked in the examination.
Medium of Exam  Medium of exam is English language only.
Total Marks  Each subject group will be consisting of total 650 marks.
Type of Questions  Questions will be Multiple Choice Objective Type Questions.
Pen  Use only Black/Blue ball point pen.
Marking Scheme  Each correct MCQ question will be awarded with 4 marks and for cross-matching type 5 marks will be awarded.
Negative Marking  1 mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer from total score and 0.2 marks .

AIEEA UG:
Date of Exam Exam will be conducted on 12th May 2018.
Duration of Exam              Exam will be two and a half hours. Extra 50 minutes will be provided for the visually challenged or blind candidates.
Subjects Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics and Agriculture. Attempt only three
No. of Questions 60 questions will be asked from each subject.
Type of Questions              Question paper will be of multiple choice objective type questions.
Marking Scheme  For each correct answer, 4 marks will be awarded.
Negative Marking.   1 mark will be deducted from the overall score
Language Question paper will be bilingual, I.e., English and Hindi.

Physical World and Measurement, Kinematics, Laws of Motion, Work, Energy and Power, Gravitation, Motion of System of Particles and Rigid Body, Properties of Bulk Matter, Thermodynamics, Behaviour of Perfect Gas and Kinetic Theory, Oscillations and Waves, Electrostatics, Current Electricity, Magnetic Effects of Current and Magnetism, Electromagnetic Induction and Alternating Currents, Electromagnetic waves, Optics, Dual Nature of Matter and Radiation, Atoms & Nuclei, Electronic Devices and Communication Systems.


For Chemistry:
Some Basic Concepts of Chemistry, Solid State, Solutions, Structure of Atom, Classification of Elements and Periodicity in Properties, Chemical Bonding and Molecular Structure, States of Matter: Gases and Liquids, Thermodynamics, Equilibrium, Redox Reactions, Hydrogen, s-Block Elements (Alkali and Alkaline earth metals): Group 1 and Group 2 elements, Preparation and properties of some important compounds, Some p-Block Elements: General Introduction to p-Block Elements: Group 13 elements, Group 14 elements Organic Chemistry: Some Basic Principles and Techniques, Hydrocarbons: Classification of hydrocarbons, Electrochemistry, Chemical Kinetics, Surface Chemistry, General Principles and Processes of Isolation of Elements, p-Block Elements: Group 15 elements, Group 16 elements, Group 17 elements, Group 18 elements, d and f Block Elements, Coordination Compounds, Haloalkanes and Haloarenes, Alcohols, Phenols and Ethers, Aldehydes, Ketones and Carboxylic Acids, Organic compounds containing Nitrogen, Biomolecules, Polymers, Environmental Chemistry and Chemistry in Everyday life.
