Age Limit: 

·         No age limit for the posts of Professor/Associate Professor.

·        However, for the posts of Assistant Professor upper age limit shall be 40 years, relaxable by 05 years in case of OBC and SC/ST category and 15 year relaxation for Physically handicapped.

·         Director: Ph.D Degree in any branch of Agricultural Sciences or Allied Science including relevant subjects

·         Joint Director: Ph.D Degree in any branch of Agricultural Sciences or Allied Science

·     Subject Matter Specialist: Doctoral Degree in Genetics & Plants Breeding/Plant Breeding/Ag. Botany or M.Sc. in relevant departments or equivalent grade with consistently good academic record

·  Professor: Doctoral Degree in biochemistry/Chemistry/Bio—Science/Life Science/Horticulture/Agri. Communication/Bio-Tech/M.Sc.

·    Associate Professor: Doctoral Degree in Genetics & Plants Breeding/Plant Breeding/Ag. Botany/Basic Science/Agronomy

·         Assistant Professor: Ph.D degree in Bio-Tech/Bio-Science/Life Science or Master Degree/M.Sc. in relevant departments

·         Professor Rs. 37400-67000+ Rs. 10,000 AGP (Starting basic pay Rs. 43000/-+AGP)

·         Associate Professor Rs. 37400-67000+ Rs. 9000

·         AGP Assistant Professor Rs. 15600-39100+ Rs. 6000 AGP

·         Rs. 1500/-  for General/OBC

·         Rs. 750/- for SC/ST
