About UMANG
UMANG stands for Unified Mobile Application for New-Age Government introduced by Honorable Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 23 November 2017. It is a single application but multiple tasks can be done via this application. Over 1, 200 services are included both Central and State Government which are useful to a citizen of India.
This application available in all platform like Android, IOS, Windows etc including linking of Aadhar cards. These applications are also available in 13 different languages that are spoken in India. The UMANG app binds a list of Digital India services, including Aadhar, Digital Locker, and Pay Gov etc. In the terms of e-governance, citizens of India can use the UMANG app can access their income tax filing, LPG cylinder bookings, and Provident Fund account any many more. Parents can also use the UMANG app to access CBSE results and education portals.

Vision-: UMANG app has been designed keeping every citizen of India in mind. It offers services for every class of society whether it may be middle class, upper class or lower class. Everyone can use this application according to their requirements.
Services-:
· CBSE - The Central Board of Secondary Education is a board of education for public and private schools, under the Union Government of India. Students can see their lists of Schools and details, at the time of result they can also consult this application UMANG.
· Crop Insurance - Crop Insurance is responsible for helping farmers in order to protect against the loss of crops due to natural disasters, such as hail storm, drought, and floods, or loss of revenue due to decline in the prices of agricultural commodities. Farmers can check the number of crops as per decided by Government through this application.
· Soil Health Card (SHC) – This is another farmer related services which are included in this application. Soil Health Cards will be issued to every farmer, which will carry crop-wise recommendations of nutrients and fertilizers required for individual farms to help farmers improve productivity through the judicious use of inputs. Farmers can view their status and updations of Soil Health Card using this application in UMANG.
· NCERT - National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) has been developed to showcase and disseminate all educational e-resources including textbooks, audio, video, periodicals and a variety of other print and non-print materials to the various student for examination and preparations.
· AICTE - ‘Approved Institutions’ application of All India Council for Technical Education allows individuals to search for AICTE approved institutions and corresponding courses with faculty details.
· PMKVY - The Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY) is to enable a large number of Indian youth to take part in an industry-relevant skill training that will help them in securing a better career. Individuals can apply through PMKVY for skill training under multiple sectors, skill area and preferred training center location.
· ORS - Online Registration System (ORS) links various government sector’s across the country to enable individuals to book/cancel appointments and view lab and blood availability in various sectors.
· MOHUPA- The Ministry of Housing and Urban Poverty Alleviation is an agency responsible for urban poverty, housing, and employment programs. Individuals can apply for PMAY (Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojna) scheme and track the same using this application in UMANG.

How to make an account in UMANG-:
· First download the application from application store (Android, IOS or any or any other platform).
· Then after installing it will take you a tour of information about UMANG.
· Then click to create an account it takes basic detail like your name, gender, email address, contact number for verification.
· After punching these details a verification 4-digit number will come in a phone that you enter in the application. Verify it and continue.
· Your application gets open and again it takes you a tour of guide how to operate etc.
· Now to account and fill the detail which is required for the date of birth, qualification, occupation, state, address and district.
· Complete these entire things your account will active and easy to use.
