Staff Selection Commission (SSC) conducts recruitment exam for the post of Stenographers Grade ‘C’ and Grade ‘D’.

Eligibility criteria:
·         Passed class XII or equivalent from a recognized a state or central recognized institute.
·         Age must be in between 18-27 years.


Selection Process:
Selection will be based on the performance in the objective exam followed by a skill test. The three sections of the paper are:
·         Reasoning (Both verbal and non verbal)
·         English Language
·         General Intelligence & General Awareness
·         Comprehension

Pay scale:
Pay scale for Stenographer Grade-C is in the range of Rs. 9300-34800/- with grade pay Rs. 4200/- while that of Grade D is in range of Rs.5200-20200/- with grade pay Rs. 2400/-. (Data as per sixth pay commission)

Age Limit:
