NCAOR was established as an autonomous
Research and Development Institution of the Ministry of Earth Sciences, Govt of

implementation of the Indian Antarctic Programme, including the maintenance of
India’s permanent station in Antarctica.

Project Scientist
B: Masters Degree in Chemistry/Chemical Sciences/Chemical Oceanography or
equivalent qualification or Bachelor’s degree in engineering or technology /3
years experience in teaching at graduate/post graduate level, research and
analysis work or equivalent.

Project Scientist
C: Masters Degree in Marine Science or Marine Biology or equivalent
qualification or Bachelor’s degree in engineering or technology in /3 years
experience in teaching at graduate/post graduate level, research and analysis
work or equivalent.
Age Criteria:

Maximum age limit for Project
Scientist B is 35 years and for Project Scientist C it is 40 years.
