Institution
of Engineering and Technology is one of the leading
professional societies for the engineering and technology community. On
the basis of required IET Scholarship Eligibility, contenders need to submit
their IET Scholarship 2018 Application Form through online mode in the month
of March/ April 2018. Selection will be done on the basis of merit in four
stages of selection process.

IET
India Scholarship Eligibility criteria:
·
Scholarship will be provided to
the students of 2nd and 3rd year B.Tech programmes as well as for Lateral entry
students who join B.Tech programme in 2nd year.
·
Second and third year full time
regular UG Engineering programme student from an AICTE/UGC approved
institution.
·
Students are required to
complete all regular credit courses in a single attempt.
·
Candidates have to secure at
least 60% in aggregate for the semesters cleared so far or corresponding to
CGPA of at least 6.5 in a 10 point scale in UG.
·
Higher Secondary (or
equivalent) marks should be above 60% or of equivalent grade to apply.
·
No age limit.
·
Students who participated in
the previous year Scholarship award can also participate provided they were not
the National level winner or Runners up.

IET Scholarship Award will be provided to contenders
on the basis of their merit in 4 stage of selection procedure!!

Stage
3: Regional Level Assessment (Presentation on a Given Topic)
Students will be selected on the basis of
cut off marks in Stage 2.

Shortlisted contenders have to
give a presentation on a specific topic that will be given by the Jury members.
·
Topic will be focused on
solving a currently societal challenge, specific to the region.
·
Topic will be communicated to
the contestants at least 10 days in advance to allow them enough time to
prepare.
The Regional Assessment will be conducted
in the respective 4 regions

Stage
4: The National Finals (Presentation on an Engineering Problem)
·
Qualified candidates in Stage 3
will be selected for National Finals.
·
Afterwards, make presentation
on vision and solution for an engineering problem that is relevant to the
society.
·
National Finals includes Group
Discussion (GD) among the finalists.
·
Topic for this GD will be given
by the jury on the day of the National Finals.
