IBPS stands for ‘Institute of Banking Personnel Selection’.  It was established in 1975. IBPS is the combined exam of all bank conduct to the recruitment of young Bachelor. History-: The journey of IBPS is related to the nationalization of bank 14banks in 1969. Then NIBM was established were research and training institute of banks were almost same at that time. After the nationalization of banks, the government has given strict instruction to banks that to spread their branches all over the cities and towns in India. So that, every citizen of India can avail the banking services and profits.

For the opening of new branches in different cities means to have more and more employee. In order to the hiring of more employees, banks started imposing vacancy ads in the respected cities. In this way, the bank received a high volume of job application candidate. But difficult is that they have chosen the right candidate for right job which was the huge task for a bank to complete and offer the job to the right candidate. The selection process should be fair and effective that should select the suitable candidate for the job.



So, NIBM design a new service of selection test process for the bank recruitment and launch in the cities and town. As a result, all banks started participating in this service and get the right candidate for their bank. After the successful running of this service, NIBM later converts into IBPS in 1984. Dr. A.S. Deshpande became founder Director of IBPS.

How to fill the online forms:

Online Registration-: First open the official website of IBPS (link given above). Select your post from the column left sidebar. Then click on Apply. Fill the form including your valid mail id, phone number, and password. After this, you get a id and password to log in.

Fill up application form-: Login the application page and fill the form. Take all documents of yours while filling the form. Now fill all required details carefully especially double check Name / DOB/percentage/ Passing Year / Exam Center.

Upload the documents-: Upload all scanned documents as required by the form.

Online payments: After successful filling the form and upload of documents make payment. Fill the Challan form online with detail of bank (rupee/credit/debit) cards. Submit the Challan form and make payment fee which required by the IBPS.

Print the form-: After making payment, check the whole form that details you have filled is correct or not. Take a print out of your form.

Salary-: The salary of various post in IBPS offers are as    follows-:

Clerk-:  Basic pay is Rs 11,765 – Rs 25,000 only.

Po-: Basic pay is Rs 23700 only.

So-: Basic pay is Rs 31,000 – Rs 42,020 only.

Office Assistants-: Basic pay is Rs. 7200-19300 only

Eligibility-: The eligibility of IBPS exam is, the candidate should clear the bachelor degree from recognized university with 50%. The age of candidate is to the 20-year minimum and 30 year is a maximum applicable in an exam.


Results in IBPs-: In IBPS, cut off score is realized for every cast categories. After realizing the cut-off score, candidates check their score if got that cut-off score then they eligible for the main exam. The will show on IBPS official website link: www.ibps.in  which is easily visible.

Recruitment Process of IBPS
The Recruitment process of the IBPS in the following manner:
·         Common Written Exam (CWE).
