Eligibility Criteria:
Nationality:
Applicants who are citizens of India they are eligible to apply
Eligibility Norms:
For Engineering Courses:
Candidates must be an Indian National.
· Passed the HSC examination of Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent exam with subject’s relevant subjects such as Physics, Maths, English, and Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subject.
· Students must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks (45% marks, in the case of Backward class categories and PWD candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only) in the subjects Physics, Maths and Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subject added together.
For Pharmacy Courses:
· Completed class 12 with English, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/ Biology /Biotechnology/ Technical Vocational subject.
· For open category, minimum % is 45% and for reserved category, it is 40%
· No age limit applicable to this course.
For Allied Health Science Courses:
· Passed in 12th with Physics, chemistry, Biology, and English as the main subjects.
· He/ She should be medically fit.
· Candidate should be born on or after December 2000.
Exam Centres:
MHT CET 2018 is likely to be conducted at all the 36 district headquarters of Maharashtra.
Exam Pattern:
· Duration of the exam is 150 minutes.
· There will be no negative marking for any incorrect response.

How to fill Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test application Form:
· Visit the official website of Directorate of Technical Education, Maharashtra State that is www.dtemaharashtra.gov.in
· On the home page and take your cursor to “Notice for Registration to MHT-CET 2018 ( 17.01.2018) by CET Cell” under the news section
· Move back to the previous page and hit on MHT CET 2018 link >>Hit Apply Online tab New page will be opened with registration form on the screen.
· Enter the registration details and submit it
· Fill the Details>Read the declaration and press on “I Agree” box>Hit on “Submit” button.
· You have on “Upload Photo & Signature” button Scanned image should not exceed 50 kb and Scanned signature in jpeg format with maximum 50 kb size.
· After that Make Fee Payment and press on “Continue” button.
· Press on “Hit Here to print your Bank-pay-in-Slip”.
· At the end take a printout of the application form and keep it safe for future use.
