There five main sub division of CAPF are as follows-:

Border Security Forces -: 

The Border Security Force (BSF) is the primary border security force of India. It is one of the five Central Armed Police Forces of the Union territory of India. It was formed in 1965 War on 1 December 1965, for ensuring the security of the borders of India and for matters connected there with for security proposes. It is a Union Government Agency under the administrative control of Ministry of Home Affairs. The BSF has grown exponentially from some battalions in 1965, 186 battalions with a employee strength of 257,363 including an expanding air wing, marine wing, artillery regiments, and commando units. It currently stands as the world's largest border security force. BSF has been termed as the First Line of Defence of Indian Territories. The Headquarter is in New Delhi (Capital of India).

CRPF-:  

The Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) is the largest of India's Central Armed Police Forces. It functions under the aegis of Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) of the Government of India. The CRPF's work is to lies in assisting the State/Union Territories in police operations to maintain law and order. It came into existence as the Crown Representative's Police on 27 July 1939. After Indian Independence, it became the Central Reserve Police Force on enactment of the CRPF Act on 28 December 1949.

ITBP-: The Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) is one of the five Central Armed Police Forces of India established on 24 October 1962, under the CRPF Act, in the wake of the Sino-Indian War of 1962. The ITBP was made for deployment of India's border with China's Tibet Autonomous Region. The ITBP is trained in Civil Medical Camp for disaster management, and nuclear, biological and chemical disasters. ITBP personnel have been deployed abroad in peace keeping missions in various countries like Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Sierra Leone, Haiti, Western Sahara, Sudan, Afghanistan and elsewhere. Two battalions of ITBP are deputed to National Disaster Response Force.

CISF-: CISF stands for Central Industry Security Force were established in 15 June 1983. It is directly under the Union Ministry of Home Affairs and its headquarters are at New Delhi. The CISF gives security cover to 300 industrial units, government infrastructure projects and facilities and establishments located all over India. Industrial sectors like atomic power plants, space installations, mints, oil fields and refineries, major ports, heavy engineering, steel plants, barrages, fertilizer units, airports and hydroelectric/thermal power plants owned and controlled by Central Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs), and currency note presses producing Indian currency are protected by CISF.

State Armed Police Force-: 

The State Armed Police Forces of India are the police forces which were established for dealing with serious law and order situations requiring a higher level of armed security normally. PAC/Pradeshike-: 

PAC is stands for Provincial Armed Constabulary or Pradeshik Armed Constabulary, (UP-PAC) or just (PAC) is an armed police of Uttar Pradesh. It gives security at important locations across state and active only on orders from the deputy inspector general and higher-level authorities. It is usually designed for VIP duty or to maintain the peace during fairs, festivals, athletic events, elections, and natural disasters. They are also handle the outbreaks of student or labor unrest, organized crime order to maintain key guard posts and to participate in antiterrorist operations also.

Who is Eligible for the Defence Sector Jobs?

1. Education qualification: Candidate should be 10th standard pass from the recognized board or institution for the Entry Level Job in any Defence Sector and the higher qualification need as per requirement of the post.
