In a bid to put an end to corruption and
scams in Uttar Pradesh, chief minister Yogi Adityanath is possible to make
e-tenders a must for large contracts, a highly-placed source told Mail Today. The
source said that a top-level meeting of senior ministers was held on Monday to prepare
a plan 'to curb corruption from the state at one go'.

Yogi had required the help of his cabinet
ministers and had given them a day's time to bring ideas. "Five to six
suggestions were given to Yogi and out of which Yogi is likely to choose for
e-tendering first. In the near future, Yogi would stop the manual tendering in
all departments in the state and would opt for e-tenders," an official who
was part of the meeting said on the condition of secrecy.
