Flats in the scheme are
available in the plinth area of 687 square feet which cost around 28.33 lakh.

Besides this system, two other schemes
are also launched by TNHB at Ambattur and KK Nagar Division.

MKB Housing Scheme 2017 Benefits:

Scheme is begin under PMAY so
the beneficiary of the TNHB New Housing Scheme 2017 will get the benefits of
PMAY.
·
Through this scheme, Tamil Nadu
Housing Board will arrange a home loan from Bank like IIFL under PM Awas Yojana
which would help the beneficiary in purchasing the house through easy installments.
·
An interested subsidy of 6.5
percent will be given to the beneficiary on the loan amount of Rs. 6.0 lakh and
this loan will be provided for the loan period of 15 years or less.
·
Maximum subsidy of 2.2 lakh
will be provided to a single beneficiary.
·
Applications for flats in the
scheme are being invited on first come first basis.

application form from the office of Executive Engineer and Administrative
Officer, Special Project Division-1, Tamil Nadu Housing Board, TNHB Shopping

which further to be submitted along with the initial deposit in the same place.
