CBSE NET Exam Pattern
Applying candidates are informed here that CBSE has changed the pattern for the UGC NET 2018 exam. As per the latest news by Central Board of Secondary Education, there are changes that has been done in the pattern for the exam for session 2018. Updated pattern is available in our portal, you can check by scrolling the web page and grab all information regarding it.
As per the previous pattern of exam, there were three papers 1, 2 and 3. Every paper contains the unequal number of question 50, 50 and 75 which is all are compulsory. New Pattern for UGC NET 2018:
CBSE has changed the pattern for the UGC NET examination for 2018 session. Now UGC NET will conduct only two papers. In the Paper 1, will be held on given dates and timing from 9:30 am to 10:30 am and paper 2 will be held on the same date from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. On same date both paper will be conducted. Earlier there used to be three papers of 50, 50, 75 questions.
· Paper 1: The first paper will have 50 compulsory questions. It will contain the question on reasoning ability, comprehension, divergent thinking, and general awareness etc.
· Paper:2 The questions in Paper 2 will carry 100 compulsory questions will be related to the chosen subject by candidates. Each question has 2 marks for the correct answer.
· Also, instead of 1 hour 15 minutes, the candidates will now only get 1 hour to attempt the first paper. The duration for the second paper will be two hours.
