Tamil Nadu Free Laptop Scheme
The Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, K. Palaniswami has launched the Tamil Nadu Free Laptop Scheme 2019 on 27 February (Wednesday). The Scheme has launched by handing over seven laptops to the students. The Chief Minister gave a statement that total of 15.18 lakh students will get free laptops. The total value of laptops is Rs. 1,340.44. Firstly the free laptop scheme was launched in the year 2011 by the Chief Minister J.Jayalalithaa. Till now 37, 88,528 students have already got the free laptops at an outlay of Rs.5, 552.39 crores.
In order to avail the benefit of Tamil Nadu, Free Laptop Scheme 2019 candidates must have the domicile of the state of Tamil Nadu and must belong to the Government school and its affiliated school. Eligibility conditions for the TN Free Laptop Scheme 2019:
- The student must belong to the state of Tamil Nadu.
- Applying Students Must be passed their 10th/12th form the Government school or its affiliated school.
- It may be noted that reservation will be provided to SC ST OBC Handicapped and Tamil Nadu Girls
Procedure to apply for Tamil Nadu Free Laptop Scheme 2019:
- Open the official portal.
- Now select the appropriate link for the said scheme.
- Read the notification details.
- Register yourself by providing the asked details.
- Upload the scanned copy of 10th/12th mark sheet, domicile and other required documents.
- Submit the details.
- Note down your registration number, beneficiary students will be informed via mail or appropriate mode decided by the organization.
