Eligibility Criteria:
1. Candidates must be either a citizen of India or a Subject of Nepal, Bhutan or a Tibetan Refugee who came over to India before 1st January 1962 with the
intention of permanently settling in India or
a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka,
East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly
Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with intention
of permanently settling in India provided that a candidate belong to any of the above categories shall be a person in whose favor a certificate of eligibility has been
issued by the Government of India.
Age (as on 01/01/2021):
Minimum: 21 years, Maximum – 30 years. Relaxation as per Government of India Rules apply.
Minimum Educational Qualification (as on 31.01.2021):
A Degree (Graduation) in any discipline from a University recognized by the Govt. Of
India or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government.
The candidate must possess valid Mark-sheet / Degree Certificate that he/ she is a
graduate on the day he / she registers and indicate the percentage of marks obtained in
Graduation while registering online.
Pay Scale and CTC (Cost to Company):
The pay scale offered for PO at ECGC is 32795-1610(14)-55335-1745(4)-62315. This pay- scale is due for revision since August 2017. The officers are also
eligible for the allowances and benefits like Dearness Allowance, House Rent
Allowance / House Lease Reimbursement, Transport Allowance, Medical Allowance,
Newspaper Allowance, Meal coupons, Reimbursement of Mobile Bills, Mobile Handset
& Briefcase Allowance, Furniture Allowance, Household help Allowance, etc.
The
current CTC (Cost to Company) of Executive Officer (Probationary officer) posted in
Mumbai is approximately Rs.13 lakh per annum.

Career in ECGC as a PO (Probationary Officer):
ECGC LTD is a PSE under administrative control of Ministry of Commerce, Govt of India.
ECGC PO has a great prospect if salary is the only thing you are concerned about. If you want to learn and grow, you may find it a little slow. The posts above manager grade are rather saturated. This may limit future near term promotions. The work is minimal and I won’t talk about politics which is rampant as this is a small company with around 600–700 employee strength only. You will be working a little monotonous office job. However you will be happy at the end of the month since it is paying well. Postings are done randomly and the HR Department takes care of it.
