CHS Varanasi Admission Form brief details:

CHS has 2 campuses:

• Central Hindu Girls Schools (CHGS) 
• Central Hindu Boys Schools (CHBS).

 Eligibility Norms:

Gender: 
Both Male and Female candidates are eligible to apply

Nationality:
Candidates must be an Indian Citizen.

Age Limit:
Applicants must be aged on 30 September 2018;

• For Class 6 Admission: 10-12 Years
• For Class 9 Admission: 13-15 Years
• For Class 11 Admission: maximum 18 years

Educational Qualification:

• For Class 6: Passed in class 5 examinations from any school.
• For Class 9: Passed in class 8 examinations from any school.
• For Class 11: Contenders applying for admission in class 11 must be passed in class 10 examination from any recognized board or University with the required percentage as given below:
• Science Stream: Above 50% of marks or equivalent grade in Class 10 admission in Science Stream and the student should also secure 50% or above in the subjects Science and Mathematics.
• Commerce Stream: Above 40% of marks or equivalent grade must be secured by the candidates in Class 10 for Commerce Stream Admission.
• Arts Stream: Applicants want to get admission in Arts stream Class 10 must be passed in class 10 examinations with good marks.

SET Exam Pattern and Syllabus:

• Mode of Examination: Pen and Paper Based
• Duration: 2 Hours Duration
• Language: English/ Hindi language only
• Writing Equipment: Black and Blue Pen only

CHS Varanasi SET Syllabus

• For Class 6: SET entrance test for class 6 admissions will be based on the syllabus of class 5 standard with questions from Social Science, Hindi, English, Mathematics and General Science.
• For Class 9: Entrance exam for class 9 admission will have question-based on class 8 standard syllabus. The questions will be from Mathematics, English, General Science, Social Science and Hindi.
• For Class 11: SET entrance examination for class 11 will be based on the syllabus prescribed below:
• For Maths Group: English, Hindi, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Gen. Studies
• For Commerce and Arts Group: English, Hindi, History, Geography, Economics, Political Science, Maths and Gen
• For Biology Group: English, Hindi, Physics, Chemistry, Biology and General Studies

Selection Process:

• Selection of eligible candidates will be based on SET entrance test
• Contenders who will score minimum 33% marks in the SET test, can be considered for admission.

How to fill CHS Varanasi Online Admission Form 2018

• Applicants can apply for SET only through online mode through the official website of BHU at https://bhuonline.in
• Application form cannot be sold offline from BHU campus or anywhere.
• Fill the SET application form carefully
• Candidates have to register themselves on the entrance test portal of BHU.
• Enter your email id, name, date of birth, gender, father’s name, mother’s name, address, mobile number and also have to create a password.
• Aspirants have to click sign up button given there.
• Candidates would be shown a confirmation message on the screen
• Candidates will also receive an e-mail on the email id given by the candidates.
• This email will have an activation link and the candidates have to click on the activation link to complete the registration process.
• Fill the online application form and upload Photograph and Signature
• At the end take a printout of the completed application form for future references.
