NTPC is looking for 200 experienced Engineers (E0 grade) in
Electrical/Mechanical/ Electronics/ Instrumentation disciplines for Shift
Operation & 30 Experienced Asst. Chemist(E0 grade) for its Thermal/Gas
Power Plants.

Educational
Qualifications:
Engineering Degree in Electrical/ Mechanical/ Electronics/Instrumentation with
minimum 60% marks from recognized University/Institute (passing marks for
SC/ST/PwBD candidates). A candidate with the prescribed degree identified for
the disciplines as given below can only apply in the respective discipline.

Limit: 30 years
Payscale: Rs. 30,000 – 1,20,000/- (E0 grade) at the basic
pay scale if Rs. 30,000/-

Qualifications: M.Sc in Chemistry from recognized Indian
University/ Institute recognized by appropriate statutory authority with at
least 60% marks in aggregate (passing marks for SC/ST/PwBD candidates).

Payscale: Rs. 30,000 – 1,20,000/- (E0 grade) at the basic
pay of Rs. 30,000/-
Experience
Requirement & Profile:
· Minimum 1 year post qualification
experience (excluding training period, if any) in Water Treatment Plant process
and water analysis (RO plant, DM plant, pre-treatment plant, etc.)
· Boiler Water chemistry (boiler water
treatment & analysis of chemical parameters), and
· Knowledge of Cooling water treatment
· Bulk Chemical Analysis
· Knowledge of analytical instruments (like
spectrophometer, Ion chromatogography, Gas chromatography)
· Coal Sampling and analysis
· Oil analysis
· Should have knowledge of environmental parameter
testing, monitoring and management.
· Candidates with experience in power plant
will be given added advantage.
