Preliminary Exam Pattern and Syllabus:
Written examination of RPSC Assistant Engineer consist of 2 level examination pattern- Section A and Section B
Section A and Section B
- Questions asked in the Section A would be compulsory for all candidates
- Section B is designed to opt any one category from the all three i.e. Civil/Electrical and Mechanical
Time Allotted:
- Section: 1- 200 Marks question paper need to be solve in 2 Hours
- Section: 2- 200 Marks question paper need to be solve in 2 Hours

Detailed Syllabus of RPSC Assistant Engineer-Pre Exam
Section A- Compulsory Questions
GK and Current Affairs (Specially focused questions on Rajasthan State’s GK)- This section will carry various GK and Current affairs questions in that economy of India, culture, politics and geography related questions going to be asked.

Section B-Any one paper compulsory to answer from the 3 optional choices
Optional paper choices: Civil Engineering/Mechanical Engineering and Electrical Engineering of BE Level.
RPSC Assistant Engineers Main Exam Pattern And Syllabus
- Main paper is of conventional type.
- Same as pre-exam this paper is also divided into 2 sections from them
- Section one is compulsory (Paper-I and II)
- Section B contains optional choices (Paper III and IV)

Time Allotted:
- Section: 1- 2 hours to answer Paper I (100 Marks) and Paper II (100 Marks)
- Section: 2- 2 hours to answer Paper III (100 Marks) and Paper IV (100 Marks)
RPSC Asst. Engineers Main Exam Pattern:
Section A- Compulsory Paper 1 and Paper 2
Paper I of this section will carry questions from Hindi and the paper II will carry questions from the Social aspects of engineering.
Section B-Optional choice subjects to answer Paper 3 and Paper 4
Paper III and Paper IV Choices: Civil Engineering/Mechanical Engineering and Electrical Engineering of BE Level.
