SSC: Combined Higher Secondary (10+2) Level Examination, 2019 Detailed Notification

F. No. 3/6/2019–P&P–I(Vol.–1):The Staff Selection Commission will hold a competitive examination for recruitment to the posts of Lower Divisional Clerk/Junior Secretariat Assistant, Postal Assistant/Sorting Assistant and Data Entry Operators for various Ministries/ Departments/ Offices of the Government of India.The details of the examination are as under: 

1. Lower Division Clerk (LDC)/Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA)
 Pay Level–2(Rs. 19,900–63,200). 

2. Postal Assistant (PA)/Sorting Assistant (SA)
 PayLevel–4(Rs. 25,500–81,100). 

3. Data Entry Operator (DEO)
PayLevel–4(Rs. 25,500–81,100)and 

4. Data Entry Operator,Grade A
PayLevel–4(Rs. 25,500–81,100).

Vacancies: Vacancies will be determinedin due course. Updated vacancy position will be uploaded on the website of the Commission from  time to time (https://ssc.nic.in–>Candidate‟sCorner–> Tentative Vacancy)

Essential Educational Qualifications (As on 01–01–2020): 
1. For LDC/ JSA, PA/ SA, DEO(except DEOs in C&AG): The candidates must have passed 12thStandard or equivalent examination from a recognized Board or University. 
2. For Data Entry Operator (DEOGrade ‘A’) in the Office of Comptroller and Auditor General of India (C&AG): 12th Standard pass  in Science stream with Mathematics as a subject from a recognized Board or equivalent.

Application Fee: Rs 100/- only

Scheme of Examination:
The examination will consist of :
Computer Based Examination (Tier–I),  
Descriptive Paper (Tier–II) and 
Skill Test/ Typing Test(Tier–III).  

How to apply:  
Applications must be submitted in online mode only at the official website of SSC Headquarters i.e. https://ssc.nic.in.For detailed instructions, please refer to Annexure–III and Annexure–IV of this Notice.

SSC CHSL Notification 2019 Details

Essential Qualification:

Age Limit:
It is mandatory for the candidates to satisfy the age criteria-

• Minimum- 18 years
• Maximum- 27 years

Selection Process:
The selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of the performance in the examination.
The examination consist of three rounds that is-

• Tier 1- Computer Based Test
• Tier 2- Pen and Paper based
• Tier 3- Typing/Skill Test

SSC CHSL Tier 1 exam pattern–
Exam Duration – 1Hour (60 minutes)

SSC CHSL Tier 3 exam pattern for Data Entry Operator:
Test Duration – 15 minutes (35 minutes for OH/VH/PH/CP candidates)

• For general and OBC male Candidates- Rs. 100
• For female, SC, ST, Physically Handicapped and Ex-Servicemen- Nil

Procedure for SSC CHSL Online Registration: 

• Open the official website of Staff Selection Commission that is ssc.nic.in
• Now go to the “Latest News” section available at the home page.
• Press the appropriate link for the SSC CHSL Notification 2019.
• Complete notification details will appear at your screen, you are requested to go through complete details and check you are eligible to apply or not.
• If you find yourself eligible the go back to the home page and go to the registration section available at the right side of the page.
• Already register candidates can log in by providing login details.
• Now fill the application form by providing the asked details.
• Thereafter you have to upload the scanned copy of all the required documents.
• Pay the application fee, female candidates and the belonging to reserved category are exempted to pay the application fee.
• Recheck the filled details and hit on the submit button.
• A receipt of filled application will appear at your screen download the receipt for the further reference.
