Qualification required:
 Applicants should possess Degree in Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry (B. V. Sc. & A.H.) or Veterinary Science (B.V. Sc.) from a recognized University or any other qualification as mentioned in the First and Second Schedule of the Indian Veterinary Council Act. 1984 (52 of 1984).

Desirable:

  • Registration with a Veterinary Council established under any statute of the State government or the Government of India.
  • Knowledge of Bengali or Nepali – both spoken and written.

Age Limit:
 Maximum age should be 36 years as on 01 Jan 2018.

Application Fee:

  • 210 only for General and OBC Category
  • C./S.T. candidates of West Bengal and P.W.D. having the physical disability of 40% and above are not required to pay any fee

In addition to that, the candidate will be charged as follows:

  • For online payment through debit/credit cards: Convenience fee 1% of the examination fee subject to a minimum of 5 plus 18% G.S.T. on convenience fee.
  • For online payment through net banking: Convenience fee of 5 only plus 18% G.S.T. on convenience fee.
  • For offline payment through bank counter: Service Charge of 20 only.

Selection Process:
Selection will be on the basis of Screening Test/Written Test.

Pay Scale:
Earn good amount of pay scale of Rs.5, 600– Rs.42, 000 plus Grade Pay Rs..5,400 (P.B. – 4A), N.P.A as per Government Rules
