Birth Certificate is the evidence of once age proof or proof of date of birth. Birth Certificate plays an important role while seeking admission, job or applies any scholarship form. This needs to be done within 21 days from the birth of your child. Many of hospitals take care of all proceeds for birth certificates. Birth Certificates is important for the child as well as for their parent also.

Now Government made easy for the parents, they apply for the birth certificate for their child state wise as the option is easily available on their official website. From there, you can download the form and fill it out. Verify from the hospitals and Municipal officer as well. It took 7 days for verification and you can receive the birth certificate via post at your given residencies.

Apply for Birth Certificate?

·         Parent need to download the format of birth certificate online from official website of  

·         Now fill the form and attach the required document.

·         Now verify the form from hospital’s registrar officer within 21 days.

·         Then, you need to visit the nearest District Statistical Officer and then check the details of your registration.

·         You need to pay Rs 5 for the copy of the certificate in the statistical office.

Required Documents for Certificate

·         Application of the desired form.

·         Proof of Birth of the person in respect of whom the certificate is required.

·         Need to specifying place, date and time of birth of the person.

·         Marriage certificate of the parents

·         Copy of Ration Card/School leaving certificate, if any, showing date of birth (in the case of birth certificate only)

·         All documents to be attested by a Gazetted Officer only.

·         Seeking admission to educational institutes.

·         Getting employment.

·         Establishing one’s age with any institution.

·         Claiming social security benefits (e.g. health schemes).

·         Passport Application.

·         Immigration needs like applying for Green Card.

·         Obtaining certified documents such as Voter’s ID, Driving License, Passport, Marriage Certificate, etc.
