For the SSC Recruitment 2018 there is some basic qualification set by the Organization which is given below.
Academic Qualification:
The academic qualification minimum 10th for the Entry Level job and further for the officer Rank aspirants should be Graduate and for some other post Graduation degree required. Its means the qualification for the SSC Exam should be 10th/ 12th/ graduate /Postgraduate.

Age Criteria:
The age limit varies between 18 to 40 years and also age relaxation as per the Govt rule.

How to prepare for exam
To prepare SSC required lot of studies and dedications. The syllabus of SSC is quite lengthy and requires lots of practices. For qualifying the exam candidate should cover whole syllabus with good revision. It requires practices a lot because number of is more as compare to given time. Candidate should increase their solving speed day by day. So that candidate can solve every question in the exam. Follow the steps which are given below in order the prepare for exam-:
Study Daily-: As the syllabus of SSC is very lengthy so candidate should study daily and practices the question more. Daily studies reduce the pressure of syllabus and get enough time to prepare all topic of syllabus. Revise daily what have been taught to you and practices the concepts.
Time Management-: To crack the SSC exam student should manage their time according to the syllabus. Candidates should make proper plan their time for studies and should follow it. Student should develop habit of writing as many as possible tests. Students should set their boundaries in which some part of syllabus should be completed. As number of question is more, candidate manages the time in this why that he/she can traverse all questions in the given time. Read current affairs daily because it can’t learn in short period of time.
Make Tricks-: If you really want to crack the SSC exam you should make useful tricks. It will very helpful in solving complex questions and reduce extra time. Tricks may help in memorizing the concept and accuracy will maintain.
Give time to aptitude-: Aptitude contain simple and tricky question. But requires lot of time to solve. So practices the quant’s more and more. Speed of solving question will increase and try to check your accuracy of solving problem. If accuracy of answer varies then you are not going to right path. No use speed when accuracy is not there.
Read newspaper-: Try to read the English and Hindi newspaper daily. It will increase your English as well as general awareness. Reading is full because it increases your vocabulary and tenses will strong.
Practice-: More practices make a candidate perfect in the topic. Practice of question will increases you speed as well as time management will became good. Doing lots practices one can traverse all question in effective manner. So practices require in order cracking the SSC exam.
Concentration-: Concentration is the key to success in SSC. Just concentrate on you syllabus and practice more. Do not pay any attention what going around you. Make sure your mind is not diverting to another topic which apart from your syllabus. Your mind should responsive enough to catch the concepts of topic which is discussed in book which you prefer for SSC. Our eye should on the book so that we do not miss any word or sentences while reading current affairs. Use your finger to while reading, it also maintain the concentration. While reading avoid eating and drinking. It may distract your mind.
Computer Awareness-: This topic also required practices mainly. In this section question are easy but it will easy when know knowledge about it. Go through the every topic in syllabus make notes of it and do practice. Try to give more time MS tools are present in the desktop or laptops.

Reasoning-: Reasoning is the one the toughest section in the SSC. It requires lot time to solve. For reasoning, extra times to solve as these questions are very tricky and complex.
