Candidates those who had given the exam or willing to give exam in the upcoming session, they should know the selection criteria admission Indian Institute of Management or other Business Schools for pursuing the MBA courses. The selection process for the admission may be different in different colleges. But all colleges for Management course accept the CAT (Common Admission Test) score.
The selection procedure for the admission usually takes 2-3 steps for pursuing the degree. Candidates have to appear in the entrance exam named as CAT, after clearing the cut off marks to be displayed by the conducting Institute candidates are called for the group discussion and personal interview.

Selection Procedure in IIM
Candidates those want to get admission in IIM for the pursuing the MBA then you should qualify these steps:
Candidate need to qualify the primary step that written exam CAT (Common Admission Test) for getting admission in any college for MBA. Candidates need to appear for the exam and obtain the cut off marks for appearing in the further admission process. Every candidate is required to give this exam for getting admission in IIM.

· Short Listing for the Candidates
Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of their CAT entrance exam which is conducted by IIM. The shortlisting done by, cut off marks obtain student and calculated by the IIM Institute and further process will come into the process after shortlisting. After shortlisting candidates are called for the group discussion and interview for the admission.
· Group Discussion
This is also compulsory round which has clear by the candidates. In this round, a trending topic will be introduced among the group students and they to speak point on the given topic which should correct whatever of would be nature of the sentence.
After clearing the group discussion, candidates are called for Personal Interview. Candidates will inform via electronic mail or displayed in the official website. Candidates should prepare for the interview and read some tricks for clearing the interview. Candidates should have well-polished communication skills before sitting in front of the interviewer.
Selection Procedure for Non-IIM Schools:
· The non-IIM schools will conduct separate selection procedure and there is no system for the common process for admission.
· The selection procedure includes Group Discussion (GD) or Writing Ability Test (WAT) and Personal Interview which is compulsory.
· Some institutes such as IMT Ghaziabad and MICA conduct Group Activity instead of Group Discussion
· Some participating institutes conduct both Group Discussion or Group Activity and also includes essay writing/writing ability test along with Personal Interview rounds.
