ENGAGEMENT OF ACT APPRENTICES UNDER APPRENTICES ACT 1961 ***** ON LINE applications are invited from eligible candidates for engagement as Act Apprentices for imparting training under the Apprentice Act 1961 in the designated trades at various Divisions/Workshops/Units in the jurisdiction of Southern Railway i.e. Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Puducherry, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Lakshadweep , Andaman & Nicobar will be eligible to apply. Applications complete in all respects should be submitted ONLINE till the closing date, by visiting website www.sr.indianrailways.gov.in

Application Fee

• Candidates should pay Rs.100/- through online.
• For SC/ST/PwD/Women candidates: NIL

Qualification

• Candidates should have 10th class examination under 10, +2 system or its equivalent with minimum 50% marks in aggregate.
• passed ITI Course in relevant trades from a recognized institution.
• passed +2 with Physics, Chemistry & Biology (For MLT Only).

Age Limit (as on date of notification)

• Minimum Age Limit: 15 Years
• Maximum Age Limit for Freshers/ Ex-ITI: 22 years
• Maximum Age Limit for MLT: 24 Years
• Age relaxation is applicable as per rules.
