The University of Gour Banga, Malda, invites applications from Indian Nationals for the following Non-Teaching Post.The Application Form to be downloaded from the University website www.ugb.ac.in. The filled-in Application Form in 5 (five) sets with self-attested copies (One Set) of all necessary documents must reach the “OFFICE OF THE REGISTRAR, UNIVERSITY OF GOUR BANGA, P.O.: MOKDUMPUR, DIST. MALDA, WEST BENGAL-732 103, INDIA”on or before December 16, 2019 (except Saturday, Sunday & Govt. Holidays, during 11:00 a.m. to 05:00 p.m.). Demand Draft payable at “Malda”drawn in favour of the “University of Gour Banga”.The name of the post applied for along with advertisement number& category must be indicated on the top of the envelope.
Name of the post
1. SENIOR ASSISTANT: Total -2 [SC-01, GN-01]
Qualification:
(i) Graduate from any recognized Indian University.
(ii) Working Knowledge in computer Application with Hardware and Software programming from a reputed institute.
(iii) At least 4 years’ experiencein clerical works in a University in confidential Section/General Administration as evidenced by a certificate issued by the competent authority.
►Scale of Pay:Rs.7,200/--25,400/-with a Grade Pay of Rs. 4,100/-
2. JUNIOR ASSISTANT:Total-03 [GN (EC)-01, SC(Ex-Serviceman)-01,& GN(PWD)-01]
Qualification:
i.At least H.S. or equivalent qualification together with proficiency in Computer Applications as evidenced by a Diploma / Certificate from a reputed Institute.
ii.Some experience is desirable in office work as evidenced by a certificate issued by the competent authority.
► Scale of Pay:Rs.7,200/--25,400/-with a Grade Pay of Rs. 3,900/-
3. JUNIOR PEON (GROUP-D):Total -14 [GN -02, GN (EC) -03GN (PWD)-01, GN (Ex-Serviceman)–01, SC-03,SC (EC) -01, OBC (Category –A) (EC) –01, OBC (Category –B) 01 &OBC (Category –B)(EC) –01]
Qualification:
i.Passed Class-VIII but not more than Class-XII together with some experience is desirable in office work as a peon as evidenced by a certificate issued by the competent authority.
►Scale of Pay:Rs.5,400/--18,600/-with a Grade Pay of Rs.1,800/-
Age Limit:Not less than 18 years and not more than 40 years. The benefit of reservation of vacancies and upper age relaxation up to 5 years are admissible only to SC/ST candidates of West Bengal and up to 3 years to BC candidates of West Bengal and up to 8 years for persons with disability (PH) of 40% and above as per Govt. Rules.
N.B.: Those candidates, who have applied earlier need to apply afreshwithout paying any fees(Proof of earlier application fees payment should be attached for such case).
