Indian Coast Guard Assistant Commandant (Group A, Gazetted Officers) Special Recruitment Drive for SC/ST

The Indian Coast Guard, an Armed Force of the Union, offers a challenging career to young and dynamic Indian candidates for general duty branch as an Assistant Commandant(Group ‘A’ Gazetted Officers)and invites ‘online’ application for SC & ST category only.

Branch and Eligibility.Indian citizens having following minimum qualifications are eligible to apply:
Branch: General Duty
Education Qualifications:
i) Candidates who have passed Bachelor’s degree from any recognised university with minimum 55% marks in aggregate (i.e. 1stSemester to 8thSemester for BE/B.Tech Course or 1styear to last year for Bachelor Degree candidates wherever applicable).
(ii) Mathematics and Physics as subjects up to intermediate or class XIIth of 10+2+3scheme of education or equivalent [Candidates not in possession of Physics and Maths in 10+2 (intermediate) or equivalent level are not eligible for General Duty (GD)].

Gender: Male

Age (born between): 1 Jul 1990 to 30 Jun 1999 (Both dates inclusive)

Promotion &Pay Scale.
The promotions to the ranks will be as per the laid down promotion criteria. The pay scales for the various ranks are as per the 7thCPC are as follows:-

How to apply:
Applications will be accepted only 'Online' from 09 to15 Feb 2020 upto 1700 Hrs for the above said post.The important instructions for filling up of online applications are as follows:-
(i)The name of the candidate, father/mother's name and date of birth should be same as mentioned in theXth class passing certificate.Any mismatch in name and date of birth in the application, is liable for rejection.
(ii) Indicate exact percentage of XIIth and Graduation marks upto two decimals and this is not to be rounded off.
(iii)Candidates to choose any one venue for PSB out of the options displayed.
(iv)Filling up of information like personal email ID and Mobile number of the candidate is Mandatory. The date, time and venue of the test and other information will be informed through personal email ID/CG Recruitment website.
(v)Applicants either current or permanent address of online application should be same as the address mentioned in caste/ category certificate.
