Recruitment of 118 posts in Transport Department Government of Manipur LD: 23.03.2020

The Department of Transport, Manipur has invited application for recruitment of the following posts on temporary through sponsorship of the concerned Employment Exchanges in Manipur. Details are as given below.

1. Sub-Inspector (Enforcement) : 4 postsPay Band : 5200-20200 + GP -2800
Qualification :
i. Graduate of any recognised university.
ii. Knowledge of Manipuri.
iii. Height 5 ft. 4 inches (Minimum)
iv. Minimum Chest Measurements 31″-33″
Desirable : Knowledge of Hindi

2. Asstt. Sub-Inspector (Taxes) : 11 posts
Pay Band : 5200-20200 + GP -1900
Qualification : PUC or Equivalent of any recognised University/ Board.
Desirable :
i. Knowledge of Manipuri
ii. Knowledge of Hindi

3. Asstt. Sub-Inspector (Enforcement) : 8 posts
Pay Band : 5200-20200 + GP -1900
Qualification :
i. PUC or equivalent of any recognised university/ Board.
ii. Knowledge of Manipuri.
iii. Height 5 ft. 4 inches (Minimum)
iv. Minimum Chest Measurements 31″- 33″
Desirable : Knowledge of Hindi

4. LDC (Office Assistant cum Computer Operator) : 21 posts
Pay Band : 5200-20200 + GP -2000
Qualification :
Graduate who have completed a course on computer Concepts (CCC) IDOS + Windows+ MS Office + Multimedia + Internet) of a Central/ State recognised Institute.

5. Driver : 15 posts
Pay Band : Rs. 5200-20200 + GP -1900
Qualification :
Matriculate/ Class X passed with Driving License valid for last 5 Years

6. Checker : 44 posts
Pay Band : Rs. 4440- 7440 + GP- 1650
Qualification :
i. Matriculate/ Class X passed or its equivalent from a recognised University/ Board.
ii. Height 5 ft.3 inches.
iii. Minimum Chest measurement 31″- 38″

7. Peon : 10 posts
Pay Band : Rs. 4440- 7440 + GP- 1300
Qualification :
Matriculate/ Class X passed or its equivalent from a recognised University/ Board.
Desirable :
i. Knowledge of Hindi.
ii. Good Physique.
iii. Knowledge of Cycling

8. Chowkidar : 5 posts
Pay Band : Rs. 4440- 7440 + GP- 1300
Qualification :
Matriculate/ Class X passed or its equivalent from a recognised University/ Board.
Desirable : Good Physique

Age Limit : Minimum of 18 years and Maximum of 38 years for all the posts except for Driver where the minimum age is 21 years.(Relaxable age as per Govt. norms)

How to Apply :
Completed application forms along with the required self attested copies of certificates should be submitted on every working day between 11:00 AM – 5:00 PM at the office of Manipur State Transport, MST Complex, Moirangkhom, Imphal West. The willing and eligible candidates should get their names sponsored by the concerned Employment Exchange Offices.

IMPORTANT :
Date of requisition from Employment Exchange will be 29th Feb. 2020
Last Date of requisition from Employment Exchange will be 21th March 2020
Last Date Application Form Submit : 23rd March 2020 at 5:00 PM
Driving Test and Physical Test will be conducted on 26th and 27th March 2020 from 10 AM – 4 PM at ISBT Complex, Imphal.
