State Level Police Recruitment Board, Assam has posted an advertisement for the recruitment of Assistant Deputy Controller, Civil Defence (Jr.) and Civil Defence Demonstrator/ Wireless Operator/ PBX Operator in office of the Controller of Civil Defence of Darrang, Golaghat, Karbi Anglong & Kokrajhar districts  under Director General of Civil Defence & Comandant General of Home Guards, Assam. Interested and willing candidates can apply through online mode from the official website on or before 15.06.2020 (Extended).

Educational Qualification:

Minimum Bachelor Degree in Arts, Science or Commerce from a university recognized by the Govt.

Other Qualification:  

1. Pass Certificate of Instructor Course from National Civil Defence College, Nagpur/NDRF Academy, Nagpur.
2. Pass Certificate of Elementary Fire Service Training or any other advance Civil Defence Course from National Civil Defence College, Nagpur or any other institute recognized by the Govt. of India.

Pay Scale : Rs. 14000-49,000/ (Pay Band II), with Grade pay as mentioned against each category of post and other admissible allowances.

Assistant Deputy Controller, Civil Defence (Jr.) : GP Rs. 8700/- ( 06 Posts)

Civil Defence Demonstrator/ Wireless Operator/ PBX Operator :  GP Rs. 5600/- ( 28 Posts)

Nationality : Candidates must be Indian citizens, ordinarily resident of Assam.

Age as on 01.01.2020:

1. The Age of the Candidates should be between 18 to 38 years 1stJanuary OR
2. The candidate must be born on or before 01.01.2002 and on or after 01.01.1982

Upper Age Relaxations :

• For SC, ST (P) & ST(H) : 05 Years
• For OBC/MOBC   : 03

Note: The date of birth accepted by the SLPRB will be as per admit card / certificate of matriculation or an equivalent examination issued by a recognized Board. No other document relating to age such as horoscope, affidavit, birth extract from Municipal Corporation, Health Department, Service Record etc. will be accepted.
