Karnataka Examination Authority is the conducting authority to Karnataka Common Entrance Test who want to take admission in Engineering (B .Tech or BE) courses in the government affiliated college are private colleges. This is great news guys for those are eagerly waiting for admission to the UG Courses of engineering in different institutions, colleges, etc.

Candidates qualifying the examination with good score will be having the possibility to get admission in any of the top colleges. Every year huge number of competitors attempts this examination. Eligible candidates can apply by filling Application Form through online & offline mode.

Educational Qualification Candidates should have completed 12th standard from any recognized board.

Age Limit:  Candidate’s minimum age limit should be 17 years till 31 December. Age relaxation will be applicable as per government rules.

Selection Procedure: Selection of candidates based on written test

Application Fee:

Application fees for the General category: Rs. 650.

Application fees for the ST/SC/OBC : Rs. 500.
Candidates residing outside Karnataka are required to pay Rs. 750/- and candidates residing outside India have to pay Rs. 5000/-
Application fee can be paid via CHALAN ,DEMAND DRAFT.DEMAND DRAFT (DD) must be drawn in the favor of ‘Executive Director, Karnataka Examinations Authority’, payable at Bangalore or Bengaluru.

Exam Pattern:
·         The KCET exam is a pattern of MCQ which is of one mark each.
·         No marks are deducted for any non-correct answers (NO NEGATIVE MARKS).
·         60 questions of 1 mark each will be asked from three subjects i.e. Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

How to Apply:

·         Candidates have to visit the official site

·         Go to ‘examination’ tab from left side of home page.

·         Click on KCET 2107 APPLICATION FORM link

·         To obtain application forms, Candidates are required to submit the KEA copy of the Bank Challan respective schools / colleges in Karnataka.

·         Now click on apply online the application form.

·         Fill the application form with complete details

·         Upload certificates in respect of his/ her qualification, Caste/ Community certificate and passport size photographs.

·         Submit the application form

·         At last, take a printout for the future use
