CBSE Scholarship
Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has published the notification for CBSE Scholarship 2018 – 19. As per this, the board will provide Scholarship to the meritorious girl students for school education of Class 10th/12th. Only those girls’ candidates will avail the benefits of this scheme who are the only/single child of their parents. Under the Single Child Scheme (SGC) students will get the Rs. 500/- per month as a scholarship.

A link to scholarship has been provided at CBSE's official website, www.cbse.nic.in.Those candidates who find themselves eligible for the said scheme can fill the application form for the same by going to the official portal. The last date to submit the application form is 15 October 2018. Eligibility Conditions for CBSE Scholarship:
- Student must be a girl and should be a single child of her parents.
- Candidates must be of Indian Nationals
- Must pass her XI in the previous year with at least 55% of aggregate marks and promoted to class XII.
- The fees for Class X must not be more than Rs. 1,500/- per month.
- In the next two years, the total enhancement in tuition fee in such school shall not be more than 10% of the tuition fee charged.
- Note: NRI candidates are also qualified for the award. The fee for the NRIs candidates has been set maximum of Rs. 6,000/- per month.
Value of scholarship:
Rs. 500/- per month, this amount is to be paid for a maximum period of two years
Documents to be sent with the Application:
- Mark sheet of Class XI/ 2018
- A bank account details with Aadhaar card copy.
- A copy of Bank pass book or canceled cheque having bank details.
Procedure to apply for CBSE Scholarship 2018 – 19:
- Open the official website of the Central Board of Secondary Education that is cbse.nic.in
- Now hit on the “Click for CBSE Website”.
- After visiting the website you have to hit on “Scholarship” link.
- This will redirect you at the page, where you have to on “Guidelines and Application Forms/Apply Online” link.
- Press the “Apply Online” link available at the front of “CBSE Merit Scholarship Scheme for Single Girl Child of Class X passed in 2018 and Renewal of 2017”.
- Now fill the application form by providing the complete details.
- Submit the form and take a print out of the same for the future use.
