Here is the good news for the thousands of Asha and Anganwadi workers; Prime Minister Narendra Modi has announced the increment in the Anganwadi Salary 2019. The PM announced to double the routine incentives provided by the government. In addition ASHA workers brought under the coverage of various social security schemes and provided free insurance cover under Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana and Prime Minister Suraksha Bima Yojana.

ICDS Asha Worker Salary Increment News
Prime Minister has also announced to increase the honorarium of Anganwadi workers, those who was earlier get Rs. 3000 will now get Rs. 4500 Whereas, earlier those who received Rs. 2200 will now receive Rs. 3500. Apart from this there is also increment of Rs. 750/- in honorarium of Anganwadi helpers, it has been increased from Rs. 1500 to Rs. 2250. The state governments also give a separate incentive.

The Prime Minister Narendra Modi has also announced that those Anganwadi workers and helpers using the techniques like Common Application Software (ICDS-CAS) will get additional incentives of Rs.250 to Rs. 500 according to their performance. The PM interacted with the team of ASHA worker, Anganwadi worker and ANM (Auxiliary Nurse Midwife) and appreciated their efforts. He said that the Asha, Anganwadi and ANM workers performing a vital role in strengthening the foundation of the country and achieving their goal effectively and efficiently.

UP Government in Allahabad has given a clean chit for the construction of 189 Total Anganwadi Kendra for a various district for Building in which 45 Anganwadi centers built in SC ST Location and 145 Centre build General category location.
Budget Requirement:
For the construction of 1 Anganwadi center 8 Lakh 30,000 Rupees required and contribution of Gram Panchayat will be 1 Lakh 6,000.
