Directorate of Technical Education, Madhya Pradesh has released a notice of MP Online BE Counselling.MP BE 2017 Seat Allotment for round 1 on June 28 and round II on June 30. Online registration for participating in the second round of counselling and seat allotment (for JEE Main 2017 students only) has started from June 28.


DTE had started the MP B.E 2017 counselling and seat allotment process with registrations from June 15th 2017 .Last day for registering for round II of counselling and seat allotment is July 10. Candidate opting for up gradation have to get their documents verified only from July 10 to July 14, 2017. Admission authority is conducting the counselling of MP BE 2017 through online mode.

In order to participate in MP BE counselling procedure 2017, candidates have to first register themselves online. First round registration for JEE Main 2017 was open from June 15 to June 24, 2017. Candidates seeking admission through JEE Main 2017 had to register within the time frame. Candidates applying for admissions through board/class 12th or equivalent exam can register online from July 10 to July 20, 2017. Second round of registrations will be open from June 28.

Note: 
·         Another round will be held for candidates applying for admissions through the merit list of qualifying examination/class 12th/equivalent examination.
·         This round will only be conducted after the seats are allotted to the candidates and still there are vacant seats left.


 Step-by-step procedure of MP BE Counselling & Seat Allotment: 
·         Counselling process of MP BE admission 2017 include the following stages,
·         Registration & Online Document Verification
·         Choice Filling, Choice Locking and Part Payment of Tuition/Counselling Fee
·         Seat Allotment
·         Reporting to the Allotted Institute, Document Verification and Admission at the Allotted Institute

Registration for MP BE Counselling & Seat Allotment 2017:
·         First step for participating the counselling procedure of MP BE Admission 2017 is to register online.
·         Eligible candidates have to only register once.
·         Online registration and document verification schedule is different for candidates applying based on JEE Main 2017 merit list and merit list of qualifying exam (class 12th/equivalent exam).
·         Candidates must register as per the schedule mentioned below. 
·         Before registration, the candidates must keep the following documents ready with them for inserting online details related to them.


 Necessary documents:
·         JEE Main 2017 Marksheet
·         Class 10th Marksheet
·         Class 12th/qualifying exam Marksheet
·         MP Domicile Certificate (If applicable)
·         Reserve Category Certificate (If applicable)
·         Passport size photographs
·         A valid mobile number and email ID

While locking the choices, the candidates have to pay a total of Rs. 1,530 (non-refundable) as counselling and part tuition fee online as per the details mentioned below through offline (MP Online Kiosk – in cash) and at Helpline Centres in cash and in online through Paytm, credit card, debit card, net banking.

Fee:

·         Counselling Fee – Rs. 400
·         Part Tuition Fee – Rs. 1,000
·         Portal Fee – Rs. 130

 Seat Allotment for MP BE Counselling & Seat Allotment 2017:
·         After the fee payment, the candidates will be allotted seats online as per their merit and choice filling.
·         After the seat allotment, the respective candidates have to report to the allotted institute as per the schedule with the documents required for verification and confirm their admission.

 Note: 
·         Candidates need not produce their original certificates at the allotted institute.
·         They must carry/produce the photocopies of the documents.


 Document Verification for the second round onwards:
·         Candidates who have earlier got registration and document verification receipt need not get their documents verified at the helpline centres but the candidates who have got only registration receipt but not document verification receipt online, must get their documents verified at the nearest helpline centre.
·         Candidates having already got their documents verified from the helpline centres, if they wish to have some changes/corrections in the documents verified, then they can get it done from the helpline centres.

 Upgradation and Admission: 
·         Upgradation facility will be available in the first round of counselling for JEE Main 2017 candidates.
·         If candidates which to upgrade their institute/branch against the one allotted to them, then they must opt for online upgradation.
·         After the upgradation is done, the candidates have to get their new seat allotment letter and report to the new allotted institute before the last date for admission.

Note: If a candidate is not allotted any seat in the upgradation round, then they will be considered for upgradation by default.


 Internal Branch Sliding:
·         After the first and the second round of counselling and seat allotment, the already allotted and admitted candidates will have the option to opt for internal branch sliding against the vacant and the dropout seats.
·         For internal sliding of branch in the same allotted institute, contenders have to opt for this online by paying the portal fee of Rs. 100.
·         Once the branch is changed, the admission in the branch opted for under sliding option will be considered by default.

 Special Centralized Counselling Round:
·         For Govt., Private, Self-Financed and Government-Funded Institutes – If Seats Remain Vacant):
·         For candidates of JEE Main 2017 and class 12th board/equivalent examination, a special centralised counselling round will be conducted if seats remain vacant wherein in JEE Main 2017 and class 12th/equivalent candidates who have registered can opt for admissions/seats based on the order of the choice filling.

 College Level Counselling:
·         After JEE Main 2017 and class 12th merit based counselling rounds, if seats remain vacant then college level counselling will be conducted wherein candidates will be allotted seats as per their order of choice filling.
·         Note: Candidates appearing for this round are required to register separately.
·         After seat allotment, the candidates have to reach the allotted institute before the last date for completing the admission procedure.
