& Physical Aptitude Test (SPAT) for the session of 2017 is going to be held
by the Department of Sports & Youth Affairs, Government

Eligibility
Criteria:
·
Boys and Girls both under age group
between 8 years to 19 years may apply.
·
Students from all over the state are
administered Sports & Physical Aptitude Test, a battery of standardized
tests. It measures one’s athletic potential in terms of agility, flexibility,
endurance and strength.
·
As per government policy, one scoring
75% and ranked in first 5000 in SPAT will be awarded for a monthly scholarship.
Scholarship
Amount:
There will be total 5000 scholarships which
may be given to that athlete who are in age group of 8 to 14 yrs and of 15 to
19 yrs. will receive Rs. 1500/- and Rs. 2000/- per month as scholarship.
Selection
process:
There will be three rounds in the selection
process. First round will be organized by the schools, second round will be
conducted by District Sports & Youth Affairs Officer and the third and
final round will be conducted by the Department at District Head Quarter.

First Round: In this round there will
three events which are 30 m flying race, 6x10 shuttles Run & Standing Broad
Jump.
·
Second Round: There will be 6 events
for second round which are 30m flying, 6 x 10m Shuttle Run, Forward Bend and
Reach, Standing Broad Jump, Medicine Ball and 800m race.
·
Third and Final Round: In the final
round there will be 7 events will be conducted such as are 30m Flying, 6 x 10m
Shuttle Run, Forward Bend and Reach, Standing Broad Jump, Vertical Jump, Medicine
Ball and 800m race.
