JTET Application Form
Every year Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) conducts Jharkhand Teacher Eligibility Test for the selection of eligible and deserving aspirants for the teacher’s job. JTET is compulsory for getting the teaching jobs in Jharkhand government schools. Those who want to make their career in teaching filed may apply for the JTET by filing a JTET Application Form 2019 - 2020. The application form will soon be available at the official website jac.nic.in.

Essential Qualification:
Class I-V (Primary Level)-
- Candidates should have passed in Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45 % marks & passed or appearing in final 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education.
- Candidates should have passed in Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50 % marks & passed or appearing in final 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.)
- Candidates should have passed in Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50 % marks & passed or appearing in final 2 – year Diploma in Education in Special Education are also eligible.
- Candidates with BA / B.Sc. with at least 50 percent marks and B.Ed qualification can also apply.
Classes VI-VIII (Paper II) -
- Applicants having Graduation Degree and appearing in final 2 years D.Ed
- Candidates having Graduation Degree with at least 45, 50% percent marks and passed/appearing in B.Ed
- Senior Secondary with at least 50 percent marks and passed or appearing in final 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed) / 4-year BA/ B.Sc.Ed
- (Ed.)/B.Sc. (Ed.) / B.Ed. (Special Education) with 50 percent in BA or B.Sc are eligible for JAC TET.

Selection Process:
Jharkhand TET consist of two papers, that is paper I (from class I-V) and paper II (from class VI-VII)
Application Fee:
- General Category- INR 500 (for paper 1 or paper 2); INR 1000 (for Paper 1+ Paper 2)
- OBC Category- INR 500 (for paper 1 or paper 2); INR 1000 (for Paper 1+ Paper 2)
- SC/ ST General Category- INR 250 (for paper 1 or paper 2); INR 500 (for Paper 1+ Paper 2)
Procedure To Fill JTET Application Form 2019 - 2020:
- Open official portal jac.jharkhand.gov.in
- After going to the home page take your cursor towards “Recent Announcements” section.
- Now press the appropriate link for JTET 2019-20 Notification.
- Read the notification details and check the eligibility norms.
- Now press apply online link for JTET Registration.
- Fill the application form as per the rules.
- Upload the required documents and pay the application fee.
- Finally, submit the form and print a copy of the same for future use.
