The Election Commission of India has
announced the polling dates for Uttar Pradesh. The state will go to elections
in seven phases. Counting of votes will take place on March, 2017. Incumbent Samajwadi Party (SP) government came to power in
2012 by securing a comfortable majority of 224 seats. The Uttar Pradesh Vidhan
Sabha consists of 403 assembly seats.
Uttar Pradesh is
the biggest state in India as far as a populace. It gives back the biggest
number of seats in the Lok Sabha.
Details About UP Vidhan Sabha Chunav | Seven Phases

First phase election will be
held on 11-02-2017. 1st Phase election will be conducted for 73 seats in

Second phase election will be
held on 15-02-2017. 2nd phase election will be conducted for 67 seats.
· Third phase election will be
held on 19-02-2017. UP 3rd phase election will be conducted for 69 seats.
· Fourth phase election will be
held on 23-02-2017. 4th phase election will be conducted for 53 seats.
· Fifth phase election 2017 will
be held on 27-02-2017. 5th phase election will be conducted for 52 seats.
· Sixth phase election will be
held on 04-03-2017. 6th phase will be conducted for 49 seats. Last phase
· (Seventh) election will be held
on 08-03-2017. 7th phase election will be conducted for remaining 40 seats in Uttar
Pradesh.

There are total 14.12 cr voters
in Uttar Pradesh for 403 seats.
Uttar
Pradesh has 80 parliamentary constituencies out of which 17 are reserved for a
candidate belonging to scheduled caste. Some of the parliamentary constituencies
are Saharanpur, Kairana, Muzaffarnagar,Bijnor, Nagina, Moradabad, Rampur,
Sambhal, Amroha, Meerut, Baghpat, Gautam Budh Nagar, Mathura, Agra, Fatehpur
Sikri, Ferozabad, Mainpuri, Etah, Badaun, Aonla, Pilibhit, Shahjahanpur,
Lucknow, Rai Bareli, Kannauj, Kanpur, Jhansi, and Allahabad.
The state
has 403 legislative assembly constituencies out of which 85 are reserved for a
candidate belonging to scheduled caste. Some of the assembly constituencies are
Behat, Nakur, Saharanpur, Deoband, Rampur Maniharan (SC), Gangoh, Kairana,
Shamli, Budhana, Charthawal, Muzaffar Nagar, Khatauli, Najibabad, Nagina (SC),
Dhampur, Nehtaur (SC), Bijnor, Thakurdwara, Gorakhpur Urban, Chauri-Chaura,
Kushinagar, Asmoli, and Chandausi (SC).
All the
notifications will be announced by the election commission. Mulayam Singh
Yadav, Akhilesh Yadav, Mayawati Former Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Rahul
Gandhi, Sonia Gandhi, Narendra Modi, Amit Shah and other political leaders may
