What
is KSET?
Karnataka State Eligibility Test results
commonly known as KSET, Karnataka State Eligibility Test 2017 score card indicate
the list of qualified candidates for Lecturer and Assistant
professorship. In order to be declared qualified in the k-set result, candidate
must have obtained minimum marks in each paper, and be in the top 15% in
the merit list.

How to
check and download KSET Result 2017

Applicant may check and download
KSET Result 2017 through the official website i.e. kset.uni-mysore.ac.in

On the home page, you get a
“KSET Result 2016-2017” link and click on it.

New page will open where you
have to fill asked details
·
After then fill all the
necessary details enter your Roll Number and other if asked
·
Check it carefully before
submitting the details and submit it.
·
As you submit, your result will
display on the computer screen.
·
At the very end you can save it
and take a print out it’s for future reference.
Merit
List
This will comprise the following steps for
considering a candidate for the eligibility for lectureship/Assistant
Professorship:

1:
Contenders are required to obtain minimum
marks separately in Paper-I, Paper-II and Paper-III as stated below:

Step
2:
Merit list will be prepared subject-wise
and category-wise using the aggregate marks (from all the three papers)
obtained amongst the candidates in each paper as stated in step 1.

3:

From out of merit list prepared
in step-2, top 15% candidates will be declared as KSET qualified for
eligibility for Lectureship.

It may be noted that the above tuned
qualifying criteria decided by KSET is final and binding.
