Eligibility Criteria:
Candidate must be a citizen of India.
Maharashtra State Candidate
· Contenders who are Domicile of Maharashtra or born in Maharashtra. OR
· The Father or Mother of the Candidate is domiciled in the State of Maharashtra/ employee of the Government of India/ employee of the Government of Maharashtra. OR
· Candidates passing SSC and or HSC Examination or Equivalent Examination from a recognized institution from a disputed Maharashtra Karnataka Border Area and whose Mother tongue is Marathi.
All India Candidature
Candidates applying under this category, must have Indian Nationality.
Minority Candidature
Maharashtra Domicile candidate belonging to a particular Linguistic or Religious Minority Community within the State and as notified by the Government are eligible under this Category.
Jammu and Kashmir Migrant Candidature
Children of citizen of J&K migrants or children of officers belonging to Indian Administrative Services (IAS) or Indian Police Services (IPS) or Indian Foreign Services (IFS) and children of staff belonging to military and paramilitary forces transferred to Jammu and Kashmir.
Educational Qualifications for LLB 5 year and LLB 3-year course:
MH LL.B (5 Year) CET
For Maharashtra State Candidates: Candidates passing SSC(X Std.) and HSC (XII Std.) or passing equivalent examination (such as 11+1, A level in Senior Secondary School Leaving Certificate Course) from a recognized Board/University of India or outside Board/University in Maharashtra or from Secondary Board or equivalent, constituted or recognized by the Union or by a State Government, with at least 45% marks in aggregate and 40% marks in aggregate in case of SC and ST applicants having valid Caste Certificate of State of Maharashtra .
For Outside Maharashtra State Candidates:
· Candidates who have done their SSC and HSC from Outside Maharashtra State Board/ University.
· Applicant who have successfully completed Senior Secondary School course (‘+2’) or equivalent such as (11+1, ‘A’ level in Senior School Leaving Certificate Course) from a recognized University of India or equivalent
· Candidates having passed SSC (X Std.) or equivalent Examination.
MH LL.B (3 Year) CET
· Graduate and or Post Graduate in any faculty/discipline of knowledge of any University in Maharashtra established by an act of Parliament or by the State Legislature or an equivalent National Institution recognized as a Deemed to be University or Foreign University
· Passed the 3 year undergraduate degree and or 2/3 Yrs. Post Graduate Degree from university after prosecuting the studies in the educational pattern of 10+2+3 and/or 10+2+3+2/3 Yrs. with regular studies at Secondary (SSC) and Higher Secondary (HSC) schooling.
· Completed 10 (SSC) +2 (HSC) Education following Regular Mode are also eligible for admission to LL.B 3 Yrs. CET provided they have completed their Graduation and or Post Graduation through Regular Mode/Open or Distance Mode.
· Candidates from Outside Maharashtra Universities will be considered as Open Category candidates irrespective of their Caste/Category
Application fee:
· For the outside Maharashtra State (OMS) candidates/ General category candidates and J&K migrant candidates is Rs. 800/-
· Whereas candidates belonging to the reserved category candidates from Maharashtra State [SC, ST, VJ/DT (NT-A), NT-1 (B) NT-2 (C), NT-3(D), OBC and SBC Categories] have to submit Rs. 400/-
Mode of payment:
The application fee must be submitted through Credit/ Debit card (RuPay/Visa/MasterCard/Maestro), Internet Banking, IMPS, Cash Cards/ Mobile Wallets.

How to fill MH Law CET 2018 Application form
· Application form will be released in the month of March 2018.
· Visit the official website of Directorate of Higher Education, Maharashtra State at www.dhepune.gov.in
· To register, click on the “Click here for New Registration” tab.
· Fill the necessary details such as name, contact information, email ID.
· After submitting it, a provisional registration Number and password will be generated by the system. It must be noted down by the candidate for the future use.
· Application number and password will also be sent on the registered mobile number of the candidate.
· Enter the application number and password in the space provided for that on the official website.
· Fill the application form carefully such as Father’s or Husband’s name, details regarding SSC/HSC/Convocation/Degree certificates/Mark Sheets of equivalent degree.
· After filling all the details, check and verify it by clicking on the “Validate your details”.
· Click on the Save and Next tab after cross checking the details.
· Upload the scanned images of photograph and signature in the prescribed format.
· Proceed to payment of application fee
· The fee receipt will be generated after the submission of the application fee.
· After completion, submit the form by clicking on the submit button.
· At the end take print out of form and keep it safe for future reference
