Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has updated IBPS Specialist Officer Syllabus (SO) 2017. Recently it has released the Notification to fill various Vacancies of IT Officer Scale I, Law Officer- Scale I, Rajbhasha Adhikari Scale I, Agricultural Field Officer Scale I, HR/ Personnel Officer Scale I and Marketing Officer Scale I exams.  

Now the Department has come up with IBPS Specialist Officer Syllabus (SO) 2017 Exam Pattern to help candidates to attend written exam on scheduled dates. Some Information About IBPS Specialist Officer Syllabus (SO) 2017

The IBPS is an independent agency in India which began operations in 1975 as the personnel selection Services (PSS). In 1984, IBPS became an independent entity at the request of the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) and Public Sector Banks.

In 2011, IBPS announced a common written examination (CWE) for the selection of officers and clerks in Indian banks. IBPS CWE is now mandatory for anyone looking for a job in 20 public sector and regional rural banks. IBPS periodically accepts applications for review of the candidates on their websites, and exams are held in various locations in the country in online mode

Exam Pattern:

·         Total number of question is 200

·         All questions are MCQ type.

·         The sections English language, Reasoning, Professional Knowledge are common. Quantitative Aptitude or General Awareness depends on the particular type of post you apply for.
