The selection procedure of the SBI Clerk contains two rounds i.e.
- Preliminary Examination
- Mains Examination

Preliminary Examination:
This is the initial process of the selection. Prelims examination contains 100 multiple choice questions divided into three sections, English Language, Reasoning Ability and Numerical ability. Test of Local Languages:
Those Candidates who will successfully qualify the mains examination have to go for the local language test. Aspirants who will clear this round will considered for final recruitment. Candidates not found to be proficient in official and/or local language would be disqualified. It may be noted that aspirants who show the 10th standard mark sheet/certificate showing that they have studied official (local) language are not required to give Local Language test.
Candidates will appoint as the employee of SBI, after releasing the final merit list of qualified candidates.
