AP Auto Driver Scheme Online Registration
Andhra Pradesh Government has released the AP Auto Driver Scheme. The primary aim of launching this scheme is to improve the quality of life of the Self-owned taxi, Auto and maxi cab drivers in the state of Andhra Pradesh. Under this scheme, the government will provide financial help of Rs.10000 to the self-owned auto, taxi, cab drivers. Total Rs.400cr has been sanctioned by the Government of Andhra Pradesh for YSR Auto Driver Scheme.
The government has stated some guidelines which individuals have to fulfil to get the benefit of this scheme. The Department of Transport, Govt. of AP is in charge for supervising and observes this scheme. YSR Auto Driver Scheme:
Eligibility for AP Auto Driver Scheme:
- The Individuals must have their Auto/ Taxi Cab
- Applying Applicant must have Driving License of Light Moter Vehicle
- Auto rickshaw / Taxi / Maxi Cab holder are also eligible to apply under YSR Auto Driver Scheme
- Applying Applicant must have Valid Vehicle Registration Certificate (RC), Aadhaar Card, Ration Card and Income Certificate
- At the time of registration, the vehicle must be in the possession of the owner.

Features of YSR Auto Driver Scheme:
- AP Auto Driver Scheme is 100 percent Government Funded Scheme
- The Total budget of scheme is Rs.400 crores
- Monetary assistance of Rs.10, 000 rupees per year will be provided
- Approximately 4 lakh Individuals will get the befit of this scheme
- DTC/RTO/MVI Transport offices will provide guiding principle to fill the application form.
- The Verification of the beneficiary’s eligibility will be done by village/ward volunteers through Village Secretariat / Commissioner of Municipality and Municipal Corporation by the District Collector
- The family of the driver will consider as one unit for the beneficiary. If the same family has separate commercial taxi or auto, then they both will receive the amount separately.

- Open the official website of the Govt. Of Andhra Pradesh Transport Department that is www.aptransport.org
- After going to the home page ypu required to press the suitable link for the “AP Auto Driver Scheme Apply Online”.
- Read the details and check the complete eligibility terms.
- Fill the application form by proving the required details such as Personal Details, Contact Details, Vehicle Details, and Address Details etc.
- After filling the complete application form must assure that the filled application form is free from error.
- At last submit the form and print a copy of the same for the future use.

Procedure To Check AP auto driver Application Status:
- Open official portalaptransport.org
- From the right side of the homepage press the ‘Financial Assistance to Owner-cum-Driver’ link.
- Now another page will be opened at your screen from where you are required to press the “Click Here” link given under application status option.
- Thereafter you will ask to enter applicant Id and Aadhaar No.
- Enter the required details.
- Yours Application status appear at your screen check out whether it verified or not.
