CTET 2016 Notification, Exam Date, Online Registration

CTET 2016
Central Board of Secondary Education is going to conduct the Exam for the CTET September 2016. The Exam is conducted by the Board of CBSE.
This Exam is conducted by the Board to select the eligible for the post of teacher from class I to VIII. The candidates who have wished to set their profession as a Teacher can apply for the recruitment before the last date of the application form.

CTET stands for Central Teacher Eligibility Test. The candidates selected through this exam are selected as Teacher in all around the India. CTET Examination is controlled by the central Board of Secondary Education.

Educational Qualification Required:
Candidates having following minimum educational qualification are eligible for appearing in CTET.

For I-V (Primary Stage)
Candidates must have Senior Secondary with at least 50% or 45% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education / Elementary Education (B.El.Ed) OR Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of two year Diploma in Elementary Education.

For VI- VIII (Elementary Stage)
Applicants should have Graduation with at least 50% or 45% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education/ in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed) or Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4-year B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A. Ed/B.Sc.Ed/ B.El.Ed.

Examination Fee for the candidates:
Only Paper I-II
Both Paper- I & II
General / OBC
SC / ST / Differently Abled Person

Mode of Payment:
Fee can be submitted in the following ways:
·        Through Challan by deposit of prescribed fees in CBSE Account with Syndicate Bank or HDFC Bank in favour of Secretary, Central Board of Secondary Education, Delhi. 
·        By Debit/Credit Card

Selection Process:
Selection of appliers will be based on marks obtained in Central Teacher Eligibility Test.

Pattern of Examination
·        CTET examination will be of objective type Multiple Choice Question (MCQ’s). There will be no negative marking. There will be 2 papers of CTET.
·        Paper I will be for a person who intends to be a teacher for classes I to V.
·        Paper II will be for a person who intends to be a teacher for classes VI to VIII.
·        A person who intends to be a teacher for both levels (classes I to V and classes VI to VIII) will have to appear in both the papers (Paper I and Paper II).

Instruction of Photocopy and Signature for the form filling:
·        Photocopy size must be greater than 4 KB and less than 100 KB.
·        Photocopy dimension should be 3.5 cm (width) × 4.5 cm (height) only.
·        The Signature size must be greater than 1 KB and less than 25 KB.
·        Signature size should be 3.5 cm (length) × 1.5 cm (height) only.
·        The scanned images should be only in .JPG format.

Steps to apply for CTET September 2016:
·        Visit to official website.
·        Then open the link for fill online application form.
·        Then, upload the required documents and scanned photographs.
·        Pay the fee through Net banking, credit card, debit card, or offline challan with Syndicate bank or HDFC bank.
·        After that submit the form and take the print of the form.
