Central Board of Secondary Education invites CTET Application Form 2017. Central Board of Secondary Education or CBSE will organize the CTET 2017 in May for 11th edition in which large numbers of candidates will take part to fulfill their dream of teaching. Before applying for conduct Central Teacher Eligibility Test advertisement candidates must check the eligibility norms.

Central Board of Secondary Education is the central board of education in India which is located at the New Delhi, India. It was recognized to control and owns the education system in the affiliated schools. It grants affiliation to the schools across the country and conducts the exam and provides certificate to the qualified candidates.

Eligibility Criteria:

Minimum Qualifications for becoming Teacher for Classed VU-VIII:
·         Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education (By Whatever name known)
Or
·         Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.).
Or
·         Graduation with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in 1 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time in this regard.
OR
·         Senior Secondary (on its Equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in  final year of 4 year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B. El. Ed.)
OR
·         Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4 year BA/Bsc.Ed/B.sc.Ed.
OR
·         Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1 year B.Ed. (Special Education)

Age Limit:

 There is No any Age criteria for applying for CTET 2017.

CTET Exam Pattern:
·         CTET 2017 paper will be of Multiple Choice Questions
        Each question carry one mark for each question
·         There will be no negative marking for the wrong answer.
·         Paper I will be for Classes I to V and Paper II will be for classes VI to VIII.
·         Paper will include the subjects like Child Development and Pedagogy, Mathematics and Environmental Studies and Social Studies or Social Sciences.

Application Fee:
·         Rs.600/- for General and Rs.300/ for SC/ST for Paper I and II
·         Rs.1000/- for General and Rs.500/ for SC/ST for both Paper I and II.

How to fill CTET 2017 Application Form:

·         Candidates may fill an application form by following below given instructions:
·         Visit the official website that is www.ctet.nic.in
·         Hit on “Notification for CTET- 2017” link >>Section of “Current Events” section
·         Press on to Apply On-line”
·         Read the instructions carefully before filling on-line Application Form and click on the link “Proceed to Apply Online”
·         Fill an on-line application form Part-I and note down the registration number and upload Scanned Images of latest photograph and signature
·         Make payment of fee through Debit/Credit Card or download e-challan for payment in the designated accounts of Syndicate Bank or Canara Bank.
·         Submit completely filled application form within given time period
·         Take print out of Confirmation page for completing Part-IV and keep it for future reference along with copy of e-challan, (if fee paid through e- challan).
·         Contenders need not to send the hard copy of the application form


Instruction of Photocopy and Signature:
·         Photocopy size must be greater than 4 KB and less than 100 KB.
·         Photocopy dimension should be 3.5 cm (width) × 4.5 cm (height) only.
·         Signature size must be greater than 1 KB and less than 25 KB.
·         Signature size should be 3.5 cm (length) × 1.5 cm (height) only.
·         Scanned images should be only in .JPG format.
