National Law Universities (NLUs) organize Common Law Admission Test for providing admission in integrated LL.B. and LL.M. programme.

CLAT 2018 Online Application Form commences from 1st January 2018 by NLU  by submitting the online form by visiting latest by the 4th week of March 2018. NLUs will conduct Common Law Admission Test on  May 13th, 2018 at various exam centers. Before applying for CLAT notification candidates must check the eligibility norms given below.

Eligibility Criteria:

For UG Programmes:
·         Passed in 10+2 or equivalent examination with the minimum 45% marks (in case of Unreserved/OBC/SAP categories) and 40% marks (in case of SC/ST category).
·         Those who are going to appear in Class 10+2 or equivalent examination in March/April 2018.
·         At the time of admission, aspirants have to produce an evidence of their passing qualifying examination.
·         No upper age limit to apply for CLAT 2018.

For PG Programmes:
·         Pass LL.M i.e. LL.B./Five-Year Integrated LL.B. (Hons.)Or any other equivalent exam
·         Obtain 55% marks in case of unreserved /OBC/Specially Abled Persons (SAP)
·         Minimum marks would be 50% for SC/ST category.
·         Final semester/final year examination appearing candidates are also eligible.
·         No prescribed maximum age limit for PG courses.

Selection Process:
Admission will be done through their qualifying marks in Common Law Admission Test followed by Counseling Process.

Examination Pattern:

For UG Courses:
·         CLAT will be held for integrated UG law courses through online mode (computer Based Test).
·         Only objective type questions of maximum 200 marks are asked in paper.
·         Time duration of CLAT exam will be 2 hours.
·         The language of question paper will be English only.
·         Candidates will get 1 mark for each right answer.
·         There is a provision of negative marking of 0.25 mark for each wrong answer

·         You will get 1 mark for each right answer.
·         There is a negative marking of 0.25 mark for each wrong answer.

Documents and Information Required:

·         Passport size photograph, front facing with clear lenses (30 mm x 45 mm).

·         Image should be in jpg format with 100 kb size.
·         Signature in jpg format with 100 kb size.
·         SAP certificate & Scribe Declaration Form (if applicable).
·         Valid Email ID and Contact Number.
·         Details of personal, guardians and qualification details.
·         Details of payment.

How to fill the CLAT application form 2018:
·         Visit official website which is
·         Choose “Apply Online” link to “Register yourself”.
·         CLAT Online Registration form will open up at your screen.
·         Enter all required details in Registration form such as candidates name, Father name, Mother name, DOB, Email ID, Nationality, Mobile Number, Enter security code, domicile, Category, Sub-category, Special category, DOB, Gender, Region, Correspondence address details
·         Choose Grading mechanism, Year of passing, board name and after that hit on “Save & Continue” option.
·         Follow “Document Upload” section and press on “Browse” button to choose the image, strike on “Upload” option.
·         Upload all the images of photograph, signature, birth certificate and other required certificates.
·         Select NLUs (National Law Universities) as per need
·         Hit on “Submit” option.
·         At the end take print out of form for further need.
