The admission will be done via two modes that are direct admission (through merit basis) and the second is through entrance exam. The Delhi University offers both Under Graduate (UG) and Post Graduate (PG) courses. There are 87 UG courses and 153 PG courses in which students can get admission as per their suitability. UG courses Eligibility Criteria-
Applicants must pass their 10+2 (12th) examination from CBSE or its equivalent; there is no age restriction for the admission.
PG courses Eligibility Criteria-
Applicants must hold Bachelor’s degree in concern discipline from recognized university, there is no age restriction for the admission.
Delhi University Admission 2019 - 20:
Merit or Direct-
Total 50% seats will be filled through Merit or Direct process. It may be noted that only students belonging to University of Delhi are eligible to take admission through Merit or Direct process. Students belonging to other Universities will not be eligible to get admission on the basis of merit list.
Entrance Exam-
The rest 50% seats will be filled through entrance examination.

- Online Registration
- Release of Cutoffs
- Selection of Colleges/Programmes
- Verification of documents at Colleges
- Approval of admission
- Online payment of admission fee
DU Online Registration 2019:
- Open official portal admission.du.ac.in
- Now you are required to press an appropriate link for the “Post Graduate Admission 2019”, “Under Graduate Admission 2019” as per your choice.
- Fill the application form as per the rules.
- Upload the scanned copy of the required documents.
- Pay the prescribed application fee and submit the form.
- Print a copy of the submitted application form for future use.
